Hi Tristan, congratulation for your purchase!

May I ask you which rear tyres are you going to fit? Looking at the label, I may see "Saferich", which isn't a familiar brand to me. Since I will be soon on the market, I would like to explore the opportunities we have.
Is their size 235/60?

Yes they are 235/60/15s

I couldn’t comment on quality - they will be replaced once I get the car roadworthy, MOTd - and registered.

The tyres that came with it were totally shot and would be no good to get going.

Nice work Tristan. Sounds good in the video as well.

One note re the self bleeder, you may want to consider installing a shut off valve to turn the bleed function off, as it can mask other engine issues if left running indefinitely.

Thanks Mike ,

I’ve seen that shut off on a few of these kits. I’ll certainly be adding one in before I finish up.
Thanks for the info.

Not a very busy day yesterday. Although, somehow I still managed to spend a whole day on her!

I basically finished installing the lights. Whilst the wiring was completed last week, the headlight adjusters were rusted solid and the headlight springs the same and some snapped.

So installed new adjusters and screws, then the headlights and grill could be remounted. A small but rewarding step.
I then replaced the rear light bulbs with the clubs LED kit. And replaced all the external screws with the clubs black stainless variants.

I also then started to wire brush underneath where some epoxy was loose. I can then start some form of protection next weekend.
It’s all solid under there though, so I’m thankful for that.

The roof box has started to lift. Sad times.
So I need to get that addressed...... hopefully someone can help me..... as it scares the poop out of me thinking about it!!!!

Anyway, car is coming along.... here’s a vid of the LEDs looking good. Thanks DGo!
