While I had the steering rack removed the leather on the steering wheel was looking very sorry for itself. Tryed to spruce it up with a clean and leather feed but it was gone to far.
Got it retrimmed, looking a little bit better now. .

Opened up the dog bone and front frame extension box areas to give better access for the blasters. The rear dog bone was looking a wee bit battered and some repairs had been done before to both

Picked up the chassis after blasting, man it's mad how quick it rusts when the metal is exposed.

Sorry for few pics, I was in a rush to get back to work after picking it up and forgot to take more /better pics.

To get a start on things and build a head of steam up while I ordered the steel that was gonna be needed,Nicky decided to do the smaller bits like the fuel tank closing plate and boxing of the lower control arms..

The trailing arms on closer inspection were showing signs of rust sandwich filling, so attention there was needed to..

With the "ancillaries" mainly done, some last finishing off fettling was done after to tidy them up .
Time to start on the main chassis, which side to start with front to back or back to front? Doesn't really matter suppose but flicked a coin tales won-back to front it is then.
