Tried to clean up ballast resistor as it was looking a little worse for wear but didn't come out as good as I would like.
Try something different :? We ll see

The muffler heat shield material was falling apart so removed the remainder of it. The stainless was in a bit of a state with the leftover glue residue etc. Gave it a clean up but that dam glue was welded to the stainless! Took a witches brew of cleaning stuff cocktail and lots of elbow grease and it came off slowly. Me shoulders are like he-man's now .

At the moment everything is sorting and cleaning. Seeing what needs replacing or refurbing-its never ending! :violin:

The engine bolts is next up. Boring stuff but needs to be done none the less. Everything listed and organised for quick future reference, hopefully!

These are all the bolts and washers for the block and heads basically.

Not included are the top engine bolts etc for water pump and fuel injection and other ancillaries that's a job for another day!

After wire brushing each of them down, finally Got the engine bolts back, came up very well I think!
now to resort them back into their correct boxes. After that hopefully I can order some more goodies from arran to help with the engine rebuild and push it on a bit more

Had a closer look at the rear light harness while waiting for the bolts to be done. Everything seems mostly good.
All wires complete, except for one side marker bulb connector but that's going be replaced and re soldered in. (for all 4)

One of the really small female double wire single crimps broke off for the numberplate light so will have to replace that to.

Went through and cleaned up any connectors where I could. which might gain me 0.3 volt or something lol!
