Right then, as i said in the last post, today (Thursday) was going to be a very long day and i wasn't wrong it turned out even longer than i thought !

before i explain today i need to rewind to yesterday, i visited the power coaters to drop a load of stuff off and also to see if i could get my lower control arms blasted ready to take with me today...

this was what i dropped off to be powder coated ...

and here's the lower arms...

So back to today, I'm due to pick up the chassis from Dudley and take it to Alex's in Great Yarmouth , to add to this, i also need to take my now blasted lower arms for Alex to reinforce and also my gearbox to be rebuilt by a company Alex has used near him, so the day started off with me trying to straighten the lower arms ready for Alex...

From this..

I then loaded up the Chavved banana and hit the road at 10AM

I Arrived at SPL at around 1.30pm and loaded up the chassis..

As you can see theres alot of work needed, alot of bad previous repairs too, the gold bits you can see is where some of the repairs have been braised on, no idea why, a total bodge in my book.

So I left SPL at around 2PM and headed for Alex's, A cheeky Mcds on route to keep me going, unfortunately I got stuck all over the place in traffic and average cameras etc etc, I arrived at Alex's at 7.10PM and we unloaded the chassis..

We then Loaded up an engine into the trailer and I headed for my 3rd stop of the day to Mr Dan Stacey, I left Alex's at 8.20PM and arrived at Dan's at 10.10PM, Dropped off the engine and Dan's trailer, picked up my trailer and headed home.

So 488 miles later and 14 hours on the road I'm going to bed ! The Chavved Banana has done me proud :dmcdoors:

I thought it looked better in the other pictures!

I know what I would be doing Mec... cutting up what’s left and flog to a company who make keyrings out of oddities.
