Hi All
Its been a while since my last update, progress has been slower than I would have liked but Im getting somewhere now, there has been a lot of refurbing stuff and a few cockups on the way, I started off by refurbishing bolts and washers...

I also had to extend the nut serts that fit in the frame as they spun when a bolt was turned in them..

I then went onto suspension Assembly, I adopted the Dan Stacey Spring compressing technique which luckily didn't go wrong ! lol

this was followed by a regreasing and installing along with the now straight gear linkage which also now has all new bushes and pivot bolts, whilst we are on the subject of transmission, by gearbox has been gone through by a company Alex uses and they found no faults at all so it must has been the bent linkage/bad adjustment causing my gearshift problems, the gearbox is now all back together with a complete new sill kit installed so this should be good to go.

the steering rack has been refurbed however the coat of paint they applied was very thin so i rubbed it back and gave it a coat of POR15, superb stuff i must say ...
