Just shows that with time effort and no doubt some significant dosh, anything can be restored.

Initially I thought you should just find a replacement chassis, but now it's starting to come together I can understand why you went down this route.

Loving that mec very inspiring, very tasty work indeed looking the biz, very reminsincent of arran s car over here with the similar amount of welding that he needed done alot of memories coming back..
Bloody awesome though and very satisfying feeling I'd bet!

thanks guys, yes its a very good feeling seeing it coming together, i wish i could weld like Alex can ! i might have to have some lessons ! haha

Just to add I did literally set myself on fire on Saturday ( I’m sure it was mentioned that I’m on fire somewhere relating to the speed of this project ) because the earth clamp was getting hot and set my glove on fire ! Which was fucking awesome. I really hope to have this done by Christmas, I couldn’t believe what poor repairs have been done in the past they would of been better off leaving it rather than a shit patch tacked on there was so much hiding within this. I would of said forget it and have a new one if I’d of known but when you’re 20 hours in and still cutting away trying to make sense of where you’re going it’s kind of too late. Me and mike have committed to this baby now :)
