Hoodie, VOD, distributor & rotar

New hoodie just arrived from the states. Yeah im sad :D

Also, parts to change the long overdue distributor cap and rotar arm and whilst i have the intake off, a few bits for the VOD. I already have spark plugs and HT leads. Can anyone recommend what paint can be used in there please?

POR engine enamel. The VOD must be absolutely pristine clean otherwise the paint will not adhere.

I personally left my valley unpainted. The way I see it, it has survived nearly 40 years unpainted then in theory it should go another 40 after it has been cleaned back to how it left the factory. I was concerned if the paint cracked or blistered a year down the road then moisture could get trapped under it.

Dan i doubt you would have to worry about paint cracking as you need to drive the car :lol: i guess it should be a concern for me though.
