Im affraid not. Another guy got pulled in ny area not too long ago and was fined which prompted me to switch back, plus we bith have FNP plates so dont want to be confused with him. I drive my car pretty much daily at the moment and can do without hassle from the fuzz.
I wish i was rocking the cali plate. I think im gonna get an american style yellow one made up similar to the cali plate and i may move the white cali plate to the front

Could you not just photoshop the arms? Bit quicker! :D

Love the pics by the way! Are you still running the California rear plate? I do on mine, no front plate either

Well I never knew that one.

"Older models from before September 1st 2001 are entitled to show a plate at the front, but aren’t required by law to do so."

Saves me 28 quid when I get my heritage plates

I think Ryan took off his US one, I recall him posting something about it......

I am so disappointed they were fake pics :(

Yes. Ive been playing with a new app. Sorry. Still cool though.

Where does it state about a front plate. If thats true then mine is coming off tonight.

EDIT: after a quick google, it would appear that rule only applies to motorbikes. Damn!

Ahh you are right I didn't see it had gone into a motorcycle section :(

Interesting that official guidance doesn't mention heritage plates.

I believe the black style plates can only be on cars made before 1970 (cant remember the exact year). A delorean will never be allowed ever (even though a few owners sport them). Its not a rolling year regarding those plates. Only certain cars made in a certain period are allowed as when they were produced, that was the style of plate at the time.

However, i think youre less likely to be pulled for having them than you would with a white cali plate for example. I dont think anyone has been pulled for a black plate (could be wrong)

I think you have another year to go before you can have a black number plate. As soon as your car is tax free your allowed to have them.
