So despite a slow crank speed I am now able to get the engine to start / fire but not stay running. I may be wrong but presume this is firing on the cold start injector? Anyway I was about to ask for advice on a series of checks I should go through when my ignition jammed and 99 .99% of the time refuses to accept the key! Reminds me so much of October’s Meet!

Nice rusty centre console and radio

It’s been an interesting week this week, fighting with everything I have touched on the car. Plan was to pull the brake master cylinder to inspect it but it refused to part from the servo unit. I now have them both on the bench but still fighting me!

I have the calipers off also and still fighting with the brake flexi pipes in the chassis brackets (ball joint splitter is next step for them!)

More updates on the last week tomorrow
