I am by no means the expert but if you look under the LCA's and inside there and inside the box section at the back it will tell you a lot. If they have issues you know where you are. The front Extensions are usually a prone spot.

I know there are spots near the fuel tank etc which you don't tend to see until you remove it. I have my ramps available if you want to do a full lift and get under it you are welcome to borrow them.

What you need to establish is, is the epoxy coating broken down and it has water under it and is effectively eating itself inside out or is it just a few rust areas.

I suspect the epoxy has cracked as per my pics but I may be wrong..

Whilst it needs doing I would be less worried about the above pics compared to how some of my initial pics looked which definitely show a more terminal problem.

What causes the fuel tank one, I think its usually from the Brake/Clutch leaks, whereas the above is just from general water ingress.

From the pictures I saw it looked like the chassis was covered in some sort of dirt/mould?

You can see a couple of scrapes on the fuel tank plate where it has come off and it looked ok

With a bit of luck, that dirt and grime has protected the frame. Fingers crossed

Dirt and grime appear to have helped, brake reservoir still full also. Will pull the fuel plate soon to see the couple of ares that have some flaking. Mirror so far.

Found the car still has its battery which was still connected and very very flat! Also found an upgrade box fitted too? Loose sill needs sorting too.

LCA's and mild steel brackets don't look pretty, but overall may not be terrible from those pics?
