There is only one thing in life worse than not owning a DeLorean.
Owning one which is not running...

I'm a bit puzzled, it's "chewed" , isn't ?

Hello mes amis,
the workshop is a bit cleaner now, the chassis is almost stripped, ready to be sandblasted and repainted

I made some room to install an oven for powder coating and some buckets for anodizing

I do have a question for all of you: as the car is completely dismantled, I'm considering retrofitting the car to 100% electric, with a 120Hp Hyper 9 motor.
Does it make any sense for you ?

Cheers,
S.

If you want to loose a shed load of it’s value, go for it

I like the idea, but agree about the resale value. For now! Am seriously considering electric for my next daily.

Be mindful that it'll be less 10% hp (same torque? ), less driving range, not supported installation for future owners as it'll be custom (unless completely fully documented).

It's your car at the end of the day, and definitely a challenging project to do. If doing this gives you pleasure then why not?

I'm sure you could get some money back from the sale of your engine if in good working non leaking non corroded condition.

I'll be the first to be last when it comes to EV, they don't do anything for me.
