Hi,
I eventually bought a Delorean for the second time, #4500 ten years ago and now #2327.

Looking for the prices ... God above! damn expensive now, I regret having sold the first one !
So I turned to a "low budget" one, white painted with some "minors flaws"

The engine has seen better days,

and the chassis seems a bit rusted but OK

After receiving it, it looks like a kind of barn find : a lot of rust inside the car, a broken glass, a lot of fruits stones, dried cherries, four mice nest done with Chinese restaurant plastic bags, missing parts, wrong wheels, .... and this ugly white paint hiding a boatload of dents.

I forgot to say that the mice loved the cables in the electrical compartment :-)

It reminds me of the work done on #4500, very funny in fact.

So long story short, the car is a wreck, and I'm looking forward to restoring it (again)!

Last thing: -as usual- English isn't my mother tongue, excuse any nonsense that slips in.

Congratulation on your purchase and good luck on the restoration project!
Looks like you're next week-end will be very busy.

What's going on with those wheels too? Same size front and back?

Hi all,
thanks for your messages folks!

For the wheels, honestly, I don't know the story of the car, but it's the weirdest combination I ever saw on a DeLorean. I'll trash them when once the engine rebuilt!

Hello,
some news from the barn, the interior is almost gone, and the engine is slowly dismantled

I do have two questions :
- Someone has already removed the car doors without disassembling the torsion bar, just by unbolting them?
- Do you have a good address to buy replacement cable for the loom, some cables have been chewed by the mice and I would like to repair the loom without changing everything. I still have some, but I forgot where I bought them (ten years ago).

Thanks ;)
