sorry to hear about this. I know the feeling you spend months and months on it and it doesn't repay you just kicks you in the teeth for all the hard work.

Thanks, I already ordered two new UK ballpoint to replace the faulty one...
I have to see what other parts failed.

You're right, I bought these a long time ago before the arm.
Like I didn't find someone to mount the new one on the arm, I sold them half price to someone... if only I knew

I have an idea which ones it could be, if you could possibly read or photograph any markings on the rubber bit it would help - I can compare against my library of ball joint photos The markings might be in 2 places, and very faint though, so might have to wait until they are off the car. But I'm not sure the ball joint is at fault here.
