I worked on the other side this afternoon.
Did a lot of cleaning because of the black layer on the arm...
Then, applied some paint to refresh them.

Cleaning today, nothing really interesting
Not really satisfied with the result, and found some rust point I have to repair before re-assembly all the parts…

Removed old paint and then applied some rustol before POR15

I bought the Spax a long time ago and I'm ready to install them.
One question on the front, please.
Is it important that there is a gap between the screw?

Hi Domi,

I had the opposite problem- half inch bolts (? Right?) With 12mm bushes in the shocks. Early Spax i think...? I had the undersize bushes reamed to fit. I presume your bushes are 13mm? With 12.7mm bolts.

Copper may be too soft for this application long term? Anyone got a more learned engineering opinion?
