Domi, no need to remove steering wheel, undo the steering adjustment (up/down, in out).
And then push the shaft from the trunk area inside the firewall (towards rear of the car). When it goes true the wall, you can push the collum up or down, this gives you room to replace the bushing. Don't cut the bushing, no need for it.
Then slide the shaft back true the new bushing. Make sure the shaft slides easy in and out of the collum, lubricate well, also lube the new bushing. I used the bushing from the club, the blue one. Drop it in hot water before instalation.

The old one is a little bit broken and have holes for a remote control.
I'm sorry but I prefer to keep it, just in case.

The lower half of mine is missing, so if any one has a lower half in any condition can you let me know. But I do under stand if you prefer to keep your old one, you never know if you will need it.

My wheels are back from the guy whom restored them.
I'm very happy with the color, unfortunately, it's only the front of the wheel.
He didn't painted the interior and exterior of the wheels.
Here are a few pic, I will take another shot in the daylight, because it look different.
