Sounds like you all had a great night :D

Shame I couldn't attend my local Cineworld due to work but nice to see the cars out getting publicity :D

Town 102 in Ipswich had a bit on the radio saying that the BTTF films were showing and that on Friday a "real" De Lorean was outside the cineworld in Ipswich.... 8-)

Re: Cineworld Cinemas - Northampton

Postby Chris Hawes » Mon Oct 04, 2010 11:25 pm

Although there is a Cineworld where I live it is deep within the bowels of the Xcape so Northampton (just up the road) was the ideal site for a DeLorean. Alistair did a great job of organising this and once I spoke with the Cinema Manager we arranged for the Saturday morning as the local press and the 'kids club' would be there. Add a dash of sunshine and the end result came out well.

I also met Ben (young Aston Martin Engineer) who came over from Daventry who was off to see a couple of DeLoreans that same weekend (he bought an April '81 car the next day in Yorkshire).

I also met an ex-Aston Martin coachbuilder/sprayer who is now 73, single and sweeping women off their feet on cruise ships. He came down especially to see his first DeLorean as he saw an advert saying there would be one at the cinema.

The Manager, Mark sorted me out with a BTTF poster and complimentary cinema tickets so very happy. I'm going to see BTTF one night this week in MK.

urr the answer would have to be a very big YES .quite funny really because when we came out sure enough there was a delorean sitting outside in the car park. after waiting for a few mins it turned out to be Nike H from the DOC nice guy really we told him to get himself on this forum whice he said he just hasn't got round to doing yet but he is going to.
