My request for a DeLorean - The outcome........

Postby theoriginalmrp » Sun Oct 31, 2010 7:34 pm

It's been a bit of a busy weekend........

In the summer when I was at a local car show, I was approached by a couple of lads who gave me a business card and talked about some pictures later in the year... This is their story in a youtube video.....

They then contacted me thanks to Alistair as the guys had misplaced my details I believe....

Made arrangements to meet them last night, where we took some video shots of their "Teaser trailer" which will hit you tube soon.... Here are some of the stills, some are blurred but you may get the jist....

What the purpose is is not quite yet known, but hopefully it'll be good car publicity which is great for our club.

I also did a show in Swansea today, so I've included my pictures here.... Car now Sorned until the spring, so I made the most of it.... Any guesses who the guy is in the last pics? LOL

Thanks for looking, and I'll keep you posted on the new "Teaser trailer"

Dave 'n' Adam's Day Off if I'm not mistaken: http://www.davenadam.com/

I *may* have given Adam your email address when he asked us on Facebook this week. 8-)

Sounds like all good fun, and yes your car looks stunning as ever! :dmcdoors:

I just noticed the non-regular side lighting. Instead of having a bulb in the middle, you have 2 sections light up..

Anyway, the car looks smashing!

Is it that, or just the camera flash lighting it up? Looks cool anyway

Good guess Al ! I did see Stu in my final hour i must admit, but seeing as the show was fancy dress, i seen 'The Stig' wandering around, and I had to get a picture!
And Arran, thanks for assisting them in finding me. I'm not on facebook these days, and not on the net a fraction of what i used to be. You are probably right with your link though mate, but i did little research before agreeing to the job - i just took adam on face value, and fair play they were sound guys.
Also thanks to Thomas and Rob for your kind words. Nothing different about the side markers though, it's just the flash reflection as Thomas pointed out.
I think prize today has to go to tt for his delorean history knowledge! Well done mate! Lol, love you really! ;-)
As promised, i'll keep you all posted on the progress.
