I e-mailed Olly on Thursday night. No reply as yet but I won't give up

I believe Olly was a contractor and was leaving Gamma immediately after the completion of the series - he gave me the address info@thegammaproject.com for future correspondance.

The version I recorded from Nat Geo on the Saturday night is different, and does have the mystery missing voice overs on it.

Favourite quote from the voice over, after talk of the cat and spring heights,

Fortunately I'm driving an unmodified UK car.

Aha! So they did screen the wrong version by accident! Rich, can you cut the right version to YouTube? Pretty please with sugar on?

Managed to get hold of a copy and Rich is dead right - they really did use the wrong cut the first time around. Makes a whole lot more sense.

Chris B did have a blind spot for the fact that it was built for the US market - to him, #1458 was "unmodified" rather than "put back the way it should have been"!
