If only there were primary source evidence like "photographs" with matching film of any person working on them. This would instantly clarify this rather than here-say/ confusion of events.

I don't like professing to be an expert on the right handers 'cos I ain't, but have heard a lot of info here and there over the past few years - and my memory might be a bit dodgy on the details! I am convinced that there were these three conversions done at the factory. All the evidence points to them being a "set" with unique differences from all the Wooler-Hodec cars. For eg the side repeaters and no marker lights, aerial in the roof.

I did spend a long time at breakfast at the first event at Arran's chatting to Barrie Wills, and I asked if I could pass on his email to Nigel... what resulted is what is in the "new" topic.

I'm not saying that they aren't, but I'm not usually convinced unless there is some primary source evidence is at hand or at the least some confirmation from the engineers who worked on them at the time.
Still all interesting stuff.

And for anyone used to a left hander who's actually driven one, they do feel like they're "wrong hand drive"
