Picking up before 10am in the morning, so a nice early rise of 4am to make sure I get there on time.

Very excited for the drive back though of course!!! It's a shame I couldn't be at the meeting tomorrow, I'm afraid I have to be back in Yorkshire for commitments in the afternoon. I'll make sure I'm at the next one.

Saturday was fun, ha ha. When I arrived it was throwing it down with rain and quickly discovered that the wipers didn't work, lol. Had to wipe down with a towel and quickly find a garage. Luckily it was just a blown fuse. Then I was on my way.

She got me home in one piece so passed the first test Just under a 300 mile drive. I was concerned about over-heating but not a prob.
Seems to have something wrong with the starter. Perhaps just an issue with the starter motor. Also struggled to go into 1st and reverse gears, so am going to get booked in for an analysis as soon as.

Could do with a new set of rear tyres, the current ones were fitted in 1992, ha ha.

What vin is your car? There is a documented update to the wiring from about vin 2000 on..
This involves modifying the wiring to the starter motor relay due to a voltage drop if the battery isn't fully charged. ..
