Was 139bhp I think but that was on the previous dyno we used where the readings were lower for everyone.

Gez, im confused as to why you then swapped your engine out, was it for the new cams ?

Well I'd bought the Volvo engine as it seemed like to good an opportunity not to - and I thought if I put the cams in it too it would be a worthy swap. Whether it has been or not is of course open to debate :)

Have decided that there a two things left to do in the HCs saga - firstly try a different emissions machine - the one I've been using that tells me I'm up at 4000 is different to the one I previously had readings of 700 on. So could perhaps be more sensitive/differently calibrated.

And I've also found a local classic car mechanic who has a proper smoke machine so going to get it tested properly for vacuum leaks. Once that's done I should be in a better position to actually pass the next MOT! (and of course have the satisfaction that the car is running as it should)
