Just spoken with the guy who repaired the crash damaged car, and now owns the water damaged car!, his name is Alex and is in Kent, he is known to a few members and Dan Shane...he has done a few bits with Martin in the past.

Vin 2801 - Black auto - has both types of sidestripe.

He has it running but there is an issue with too high oil pressure, so TT is on the case with him to get it sorted, he may need one of my autoboxes as the other appears to be seized solid.

He did say the fire damaged car was in better nick than it looked.

Hi guys, just thought I'd drop in a line. My names Keren, I'm Alex's girlfriend..I've been enjoying reading all your topics of discussion over these three cars! Just to let everyone know, those cars weren't that bad; I even sat in the fire damaged one when we were moving it around the workshop!

well he has had a touch , i can only assume its the pressure release valve on the oil pump so it doesnt have to come out only the timing cover does TT

Is that little Alex who used to have a workshop in broad oak just down the road from my old workshop ? If so he is a top guy. Haven't spoken to him in years. Drives like a total nutcase but he used to hate deloreans

Don't hold the fact that he has done bits with Martin againest him. He normally fixed things that Martin couldn't and has a broad knowledge of exotic cars.

If anyone speaks to him again get him to drop me a line

hi everyone! yeah he's mentioned something about cam covers, I tend to just smile and nod when he starts talking about deloreans!

dan: yeah it is the same alex, though he wants to know where you disappeared to! he tells me you had a very nice lotus! he's instructed me to tell you to call him, his number is still the same but I think he's lost yours!
