Hi, Here we have a 1981 DCM-12

It was owned by the previous owner since 1986, and was going to be restored to its former glory, however the project and the car were neglected. There is unfortunately some parts missing as the photos show.

Its one of only 14 original RHD model made I believe.

Would make for an excellent restoration project

(EDITED) VIN 522. Non W-H conversion, but done "back in the day" possibly by Gerry Castle or similar I think.

Was this not the one on a caravan site in N Wales, Doug someone? If so Dave H knows the car, I believe its a post Wooler / Gerry Castle conversion.

Has that lacquer finish...

Yes, this is definitely that one - Des someone as I remember it. I think Dave H even knew it when it was a LHD.

Des Maguire, I think a lot of work has already been done underneath, or at least that's what I was told, looks a bit of a state, can't see it being at Eurofest

I have a picture somewhere will try to dig it out.....It looked considerably better, I think Stu Rees looked at it once and said chassis wasn't great at all
