I presume that the MGJ car is a different one to that ending in 126Y?

was trying to remember, it is the 126Y car, and as far as i know original W H.
was talking to Chris P ages ago about it. Think it frustrates him as being the one out of reach so to speak!
and the current owner will not do anything with it. Would not be so bad if it was looked after at least, or put in an airchamber or something, instead being left to rot

Yes it's one of the 3 AXI cars, the one Steve is referring to is on the front cover of motor makers in Ireland

No, from memory he tracked the car down eventually to a guy who brought the car quite young but could not afford to insure it so parked it up in a garage and left it. CP tracked him down via DVLA and arranged to go see the car, the guy had left it in the garage soo long they had to cut down various overgrown greenery to get the garage door open! The garage roof had also been leaking so the car was in quite a bad state. Apparently the guy was not up for selling at all so afaik it still there in need of attention
