Thanks for all the advice.

Suspect the springs were changed without adjusting any other of the suspension geometry, so will change springs first to see if that improves matters (will definately be changing springs to the originals in any event as I want car as original as possible). If that doesn't work, then will check shocks.

By the way, how do you reply directly onto someone else's post. Not very computer literate so will probably need help.

Regards,

Ian

I haven't heard anyone ever saying that handling is improved from changing the springs back from lowered springs, if anything changing to lowered springs should improve it?

I'm all for originality myself, but monster truck springs and craig radios are where I draw the line.

We're all very well thanks Chris, how are you? Once I've got these jobs done, car should be out and about shortly but have to contend with a house move in between which may put things on the back burner for a while. Have you still got your car, last I heard you had an Esprit? Love those cars!

All good with me, very busy at the moment, moved the D on a few years back but at some point hope to get another. The Esprit is a lot of fun, fast and handles well :) maybe take you for a spin sometime

Let's be honest, they couldn't handle any worse if the springs were made from blancmange
