Nice of them to give it a clean before putting it on the market as the most expensive DeLorean in years

What's going on with the front ARB reinforcement? Clearly whoever 'redesigned' the front suspension didn't realise the LCA was actually the part that needed help...

Even though it's dirty, I can't help feeling that almost any engine in the world is more attractive to look at than the PRV!

The PRV it's such a crappy looking engine with wires, water pipes running all over it.

It could be worse, it could be covered with Garden Hosepipe and Tumble Drier vent hose.....

How about designing and making a big plastic engine cover (,like they do on modern cars) with a big DMC logo on it.
That should hide it

Initially the guy listing it, for the owner, maintained that it was a 4-speed, but he has now changed that to a 5-speed Pantera box.

136 miles travelled since 1996.

Originally the owner wasnt 80k, but this is his new "more resonable" price

He claims it may be sold already, so you may all have missed out.

What a bodge

Nice free flow manifold conversion NOT!
Anti roll bar. WTF
Overheat issues.....most definately
Over hanging rear weight causing front of car to lift at speed....most probably. (PRV 170kg, Pantera 225kg 50% more weight overhanging rear axle)
Built in someones back yard from household DIY stuff you find in a garden shed, welded by someone trying to learn how to weld....Yep.

I'd stay well clear of this bodged deathtrap.

:o The seller claims it was a $60,000 (in 1981 money) professional upgrade. Quality work, that. I think Darren is just being his usual picky self. :D Just because the owner spent $60k, drove it for just 1000 miles and then parked it is no indication that it is perhaps lacks some sort of driveability.

(There are three twin-turbo cars on the market over here that are all well sorted and actual runners for half that money)
