Ideally I'm after a full runner with everything working but would be open to one needing some light work but don't want to have to do a full restoration,

Thanks

I wonder if that was the one Mrs T saw ?

I can go and have a look at it for someone if required.

Fee is pie-n-pint ;)

Because that's the going rate now Al, or close enough to it. A lot's changed over the last year.

Categorically not a lot has changed in the last year apart from several cars that are being reimported for circa £15k and cheaper, where do you get a £10k mark up from?

There are more coming over than being sold, which will drive the price down not up.

M Nickels car sold for £10k needed only a few k to sort, that was only Nov.
M Reed car Mot and running, under £14k, another for £18.5k.
In July last year £17.5k and another £18.5k

You can discount the auction car which someone obviously thought was a bargain......and is trying to flip it now.

Then of course there was one last week for £24k (collecting tomorrow). Of course the £29k auction car. Paul Jenkins' car for £22k(?) And your old car which sold in 48 hours for £21k. That car alone had two other people "miss out by hours" trying to buy it as well. There are at least 5 serious buyers across both UK forums looking for manuals at present, all in the "over 20k" bracket. Agreed, one could possibly import for cheaper, but clearly not everyone wants to.
Of course there are still "bargains" to be had with an automatic. Birksie is still trying to sell his for £22k, and Paul McKay's didn't sell for £22.5K on Ebay.
