Does any body have any recommendations on where to buy rear tyres?

Get yourself some General Grabbers for £100 a corner fitted from www.blackcircles.com. Or alternatively fork out more than twice as much for some P600s that are an archaic design and rarely in stock!

Grabbers good tyres and a decent price, funky tread pattern and you can reverse the writing for inside or outside

I think Mike W has just bought some.

Shortly after my last post I went abroad for a few months, and therefore never got round to changing the tyres. Since then the links are unfortunately broken and Tyre Leader no longer seem to stock the General Grabbers.

Has anybody had any experience with these Nankangs?

Looks like they were good enough for this one:

Just wondered if anybody had them. They're a really good price. They have the P600s as well, but as Jerzybondov commented, they look extortionate after seeing the Grabbers.

Tyre sizes: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=40

The advantage of the Nankangs is that you can match the fronts too and have the same brand all round. I've seen a few cars with them on - One of the Knowltons has them - can't remember which brother! But he said they were fine.

The Grabbers do look nice though: http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop. ... eugart=PKW

The nankangs are only S rated tyres speed rating 109mph.

Inform your insurer that you're putting lower rated speed tyres than oem, as no doubt if the worse were to happen it'd be a get out clause. ..
