This car was on the market two years ago for £25K. Since that time the milage hasn't changed so it clearly isn't being used. I remember speaking to the vendor at the time and he wasn't particularly approachable and I wonder if that affected his sales attempt. If anyone is interested in the car I live a few miles away from Godstone so am happy to go and have a look at the car on your behalf (but with the caveat that I am one of the least qualified people to do this as my mechanical skills are limited).

I am going to try and view this car possibly with Mike W, apparently it had light front end damage and the panels from a fire damaged car were put on it, thoughts guys? It shows in the photo the front needs re-alignment, would the fact they don't align show the car is not straight? Surely when they put the panels on then they would have been able to tease play with them to make them straight at the time and not just leave them unless they could'nt get it any better for some reason, just asking your opinions here as a prospective buyer

Hi Joel. Testing my memory a bit here, but this car came over as a trio. This is how it used to look:

And this is the car that was used to fix it:

The rest of that fire car is now a RHD car owned by Will Blostone

There is a lengthy thread on the trio here: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=1885 - there once was a thread on an american forum (site has long gone) about the trio - the funny thing is the 3rd car was flood damaged, so it was called a Holy Trinity, of fire, water and, erm.... wall.

Here is another thread on the trio: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=998

DeLorean Cars wrote:I know very little, only that they've been bought by someone with no clue and are due to be worked on by someone with no DeLorean experience. The guy who bought them is looking to do them/one up for sale at a profit...

I just know this is going to end up landing on us at some point....

Well it has landed on us ;)

Unfortunately the DMCTalk site got deleted so that original thread is no more, I'm scouring the Wayback Machine, but I think it's a no go.

It depends if you want a car to fix up bodywork wide (not my thing) or for another 7-10k (you'd probable spend anyway) you can get an immaculate excellent body fantastic panel gapped one straight out of the box also listed here

You're always going to have problems with resale on a car like this, no matter how tidy you ultimately make it. It's worth looking at though to get a sense of what kind of condition £26k might get you. And then avoid and buy a nicer one or import.

Not that we're trashing it lol. They are all crap! If it's been fixed up well then maybe it's not a problem, looking at the damage it can't have been going that fast. Certainly not 40mph :)
