Hi Daniel,

I completely agree with what you're saying, which is why I originally mentioned I'd be detailing the car to tidy it all up and servicing it before selling. The rust will not be there for long, it is booked in to my excellent mechanic on Monday, where he will service the vehicle and clean up all rust underneath and treat it. I wasn't aware of the hoses before entering this forum so I will raise this issue with him and see if he can replace it also. And I will get him to look at anything else that needs addressing. If not, a lower price can always be negotiated to cover the cost for the next owner to rectify these issues.

I have no desire to sell my car in a poor way, I'd love it to be in the best condition possible. It is still £2000 cheaper than the next cheapest DeLorean for sale currently in the U.K. So this is where I am basing my price on, including trying to rectify any issues.

The car is based in Manchester.

Any other questions I'm happy to help.

Daniel Shane wrote:Wow that is strong money. Like Al said i would really expect to see a lot of updates and work done on a Car for that price. Minimum I would expect is the chassis to be clean, all fuel hoses changed, the wishbones and suspension to be rust free and no oil leaks.

Where abouts is the car located ?

Thanks Mike... you might as well have just listed every part of the car.
The A/C does work, and I am getting the fuel line replaced. Very low mileage and a great runner, with no issues.
So again, I'm open to offers

Hi
Low mileage on a DeLorean works the opposite to 'some' classic cars,

This was the topic of conversation recently with our classic car club guru Darren Collins

any savvy buyer would be reading this

Good luck with the sale

:) That's the way it goes with these cars I'm afraid. I have revisited the list and put a star by the minimum items I would expect to be done.

Al is right re the low mileage, on a DeLorean that is not seen as such a good thing.

Well looking at that list, I can't afford to replace everything on the car so i'll just have to reduce the price by the cost of replacing everything else.
The A/C works, rust free, £1000 spent detailing car so all clean and working/running well.
New price to be more realistic down to £33,995

The car is still at the garage so I can only get pictures at the weekend.
I've had an offer for £31k which I will have no option but to accept in the next couple of weeks unless someone else would like to make a better offer on here?
