Our theory is that this is The Speakmans' car - based on the side stripe. Kent is nowhere near them though, so it might well be that's owned by someone else at the moment.

I think you are spot on.

Based on that tip/theory, I found this, from a twatter account in 2014 of someone visiting the Speakmans

showing the unusual row of lights along the roof trim (very different from normal BTTF cars)

Maybe 01452?

If you're going to do a BTTF replica, wouldn't you go to the tiny effort of removing the side stripe?!

I also enjoyed this part of the ad: "Although after supplying the vehicle details and chassis number to Universal Studios, they could not entirely confirm they had never used the vehicle."

It was imported by Martin Fillery around 2003-2004!who had a massive collection of movie cars etc - if you google his name you will find out where he is now ....

Paul Feagan supplied some parts to him and I don’t think he got paid there was all sorts of issues

Martin G also worked on it when Martin F owned it.

Mike Sumner years ago spoke to Lord Speakman and tried to explain it was a replica and was met with ‘ screen used etc ‘

I would never call you wrong Al. :D

I thought the car now owned by David Mathers in NI used to be owned by Speakman. 06425

Funny enough likewise!!

Yes he may well have had two - but I don’t remember ever hearing about it like the BTTF car

I wonder if David bought it from Lord Speakman?
