That red interior is ghastly. Im not sure what im more shocked at? That someone thought all that red is a great idea or youre selling your car. I saw it at the recent meetup and its damn nice. I thought the extra brake lights was a nice touch too

Here is another assault on your senses JuJu ;)

LHD Essex @ €95k but recently refurbished to high standards it seems. Looks mint although surprised more DeLorean’s don’t have such a red interior after owners replacing window motors or door locks lol

Take my advise and maybe give the 80’s pre Stevens Esprits a miss if you want grunt and the ability to give them some real stick.

I’ve had a few of the early and a few of the late Esprits and I really loved the post Stevens models.

S4s or GT3 are my favourites. V8 is nice but does love eating turbos.

It’s true the Steven cars tend to be a little more robust and quicker and prices tend to be much the same, would personally avoid the V8 as if they go go wrong the cost to repair can be huge and as many owners have run them on a shoe string at some point that tends to come back around and have known many owners spending £15k plus to repair.

Alex Canini is currently rebuilding a V8 Esprit for a guy who brought a car after a recent engine rebuild that went bang within a few thousand miles of that rebuild!

For anyone interested I believe the Essex turbo @ Coys I posted earlier in the thread went to £49k at the hammer although not sure if reserve was met. It was in need of recommissioning, I know
a dealer has one and is looking for in the region of £100k !!

I was fortunate enough to have quite a long drive of this car last weekend.

Very impressed with the performance ... the gearbox ratios make a massive difference to the overall drive... I did once say I wouldn’t have another manual... this car might have changed my mind!
