Fully Operational Delorian For Sale 1982 VIN 10959

Postby TimeMachine1988 » Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:41 am

Hi Guys and Galls,

I have an excellent 1982 Delorian for sale fully operational inside and out. The body work is stunning very good lines and the inside is very clean and tidy with minimal wear and tear. Only 24000 miles. I brought the car from California it’s a Left Hand Drive. This is an original car that was garaged for many years. I am looking for sensible offers around 43000UKP. I can deliver and would be happy to arrange Skype or WhatsApp video calls for interested parties. Don’t delay they go quick. The Flux Capacitor has been removed for safety reasons. My weird sense of humour. Thank you for reading

It might help your cause if you post pictures of the car. A for sale advert with zero pictures of the car in question is unlikely to attract much if any interest. Also add some info such as your location, spec of the car, black/grey interior, manual or auto etc.

Not at £43k they don’t. To put it into perspective for you, there are two cars which have been for sale at £38k for over a year and a half which haven’t sold, with a third going up for sale at £38k earlier this month.

Personally for a car which is advertised at the top end of the market, it should have every update under the sun already taken care of (fuel lines, brake lines, coolant system, controls arms, trailing arms, suspension, etc etc etc) and everything on the car including the A/C should work.

Good luck with the sale.

Hi guys thanks for your comments. Arran is working on loading the pictures and yes AC works.

You need to look beyond UK when setting a price for a LHD. These cars have global appeal. There are not many good low milage ones around, some are in excess of 50k.

Have a good evening.

I think you need to google, supply and demand and market price....

PS, a DELOREAN forum probably isn't the best place to try and flog one with "don't delay they go quick" tactics.

I would advise anyone looking for a DeLorean to avoid ‘low mileage’ examples

Who's to say how accurate the mileage is anyway.

I think the only reason not to avoid one is when the seller can prove all the necessary work has been done.

Personally, i would avoid anyone selling a delorean who cant spell delorean correctly. Even more so when they're on a delorean site.

Unless its a typo, how is VIN 0959 an 82? Isnt 0959 a march 81?

erm - no I'm not, I'm sat here waiting :) - I'm happy to put them on here for you if you're unable to attach them if you email them to me though.

p.s. what is a "UKP"? It's an unusual abbreviation for our currency. Is the car actually in the UK? Manual or Auto?

Ho ho ho gentleman from the posts below who of you actually own a Delorian? Just curious to know.

Comments back regarding the car should have all upgrades at this price. Well actually true collectors want originals not modified or upgraded hash ups. This is a fact, do your research originals fetch much higher prices.

Comments on sale tactics they go quick— you should note as confirmed by Arran too a lot of adverts for these cars are fake good ones do go quick. You need to get out of the UK goldfish bowl and think global.

Now just to be clear I am not interested in sniping or trading insults on spoooling or grimmer but thanks to teacher for the fabulous contribution to the post.

Bottom line is I have a beautiful Delorian for sale and none of the negativity expressed will change that.

Have a great weekend I will not be responding to anymore schoolboy jibes.

Arran J, I have sent you the email with pictures and the title deeds plus import documents.
