TimeMachine1988 wrote: Comments back regarding the car should have all upgrades at this price. Well actually true collectors want originals not modified or upgraded hash ups. This is a fact, do your research originals fetch much higher prices.
Lol. You come across rather arrogant who seems to think he knows it all. "True collectors" im guessing are those that never drive the car and lock it away somewhere never to see the light of day again. Yes those people want it as original as possible. Sadly, those sort of "collectors" are few and far between. Regular people want a good condition car that whilst should be original, they will want to see upgrades such as new tyres, new fuel lines etc. You know, so they can actually drive the car safe in the knowledge it wont catch fire. Im guessing that these upgrades havent been done judging by the tone of your comment.
I would also stop telling us to do our research considering youre the one who cant spell DELOREAN and have made many assumptions and mistakes in the very few posts you have made thus far.
TimeMachine1988 wrote: Comments on sale tactics they go quick— you should note as confirmed by Arran too a lot of adverts for these cars are fake good ones do go quick. You need to get out of the UK goldfish bowl and think global.
Another assumption. I think youll find that many of us here are fully aware of current market prices both here in the uk and abroad. What you are asking is very high for the uk and ridiculously high for abroad to warrant being exported out of the UK to elsewhere (assuming the car is even in the UK). I think its you that needs to do "their research". It has been pointed out to you that 2 cars have been up for sale for over a year now priced at £38k. That should tell you something. You should also note that quite a few of us owners here have bought and imported their cars from abroad.

Im starting to think english is not youre first language. However, you seem to be the one making the insults here. Youve come onto a site of experts and starting basically saying we are fools and we havent a clue as to what we are talking about.
TimeMachine1988 wrote: Bottom line is I have a beautiful Delorian for sale and none of the negativity expressed will change that.
Maybe a nice one yes but again its DELOREAN. From the pictures it looks to be very nice. Not £43k nice, but nice none the less. The front fascia for example clearly shows paint issues and the metal windscreen frame is flaking too. So already this is not a £43k car.
Problem is, you havent shown any chassis or engine pics nor have you listed what work (if any) has been done to the car. All things potential buyers WANT to know about and see. People who are in the market to buy a delorean are clued up on what to look out for. Just stating you have a nice car wont cut it. Also, insulting owners on their home turf is not exactly a great sale tactic either and as such, you wont be getting any help from me from this post onward.
TimeMachine1988 wrote:Considering you are somewhat experts claiming the date of the car is wrong and vin is wrong. Again you are only using your UK knowledge.
What was that about schoolboy jibes? We go by the info you provide. 0959 is a march 81 car. 10959 however is an 82 car. These are the details that if you cant get right, will put off buyers. Till you actually started posting pics i thought you were a scammer who doesnt own a delorean as there were a few red flags in your comments and still are. Personally, i think youre trying to flog a car you know little about at an exaggerated cost to someone who knows as much as you do about deloreans.
TimeMachine1988 wrote: Find attached the California Title deeds the last 4 of the Vin and the year model 1982 not Oct 81 as some suggest. Every day is a school day.
Again, another insult. You are the one who needs schooling. The VIN should be the last 5 digits not 4. Also, no one here claimed it was an oct 81. I stated 0959 was a march 81 which is correct. You, yet again, were the one who was wrong.
Good luck selling your "nice" car but youll get no where near the £43k you want without more info and pictures of certain areas of the car. Even then, you will be stuck with the car for a very long time. Good day to you sir!
