umm yes this guy was trying to get his teeth into the young girl who is doing her dads old car up (sorry can not remember her name!).
something just seemed a bit strange from what he was saying. i asked him if by any chance he was selling his Delorian and lowing behold he admitted that he said he had sold the car although he hadn't. very odd guy if you ask me, there is something not right with the guy.

cheers
tys

Im guessing either the angle drive is shot or the car hasnt moved this whole time as the mileage hasnt changed. Im willing to bet the car hasnt moved.

I think the guy bought the car as some sort of investment (hence the stupidly high asking price) and if he conducts himself offline the way he did here, i cant see anyone wanting to buy from him.

I dont understand why he would start saying the car is sold when it isnt and then try and flog it elsewhere

In my head Its simple enough, tried to flog it high in the wrong place, got caught out and tried to save face by saying it was sold with his little piffy comment "I admit when I was wrong I got "x" k less than I wanted".

Saying it was sold was the simplest solution to the face he had just blown cover with his game with 80 percent of the UK Delorean community. That was my view anyway.
