You are right, I missed that. Thanks for the heads up. Perhaps it was the reason for the PO to ditch the existing socket. But when I got the car, more was wrong/melted/burned, eg. the inertia switch, the chimer box, and the fuse box. Somebody has some serious problems with the car i think. After I bought the car, me and my dad cleaned up a lot of bad wiring and connection points, never had any problem with it since.
