Can I have an 'A' please Bob?

I lost it on the way back from Ireland! :? Jules, any chance you have a spare? If not, how much to get one made up please?

So, that's a bumper letter, indicator lens and rear quarter louvre thingy that have "fallen off" the car since owning it! All in all, not a bad return...

Oh dear Carl. The "a" is the most expensive part of that bumper. Do you know how rare they are? Good luck finding one, probably the only thing that is rarer than a left front fender! :(

I haven't checked this, but it's possible that it *might* cross reference to the "9" on a Porsche 911? Got to worth checking out, at the price for "a" these days. Of course you've have to remove the "adhesive" using acetone, since you'd be flipping the "9".

Just a thought ... how about using an 'e' upside down ?? I believe they are still available oem ?

If it works i will put it in the 'X ref' section as a cheaper alternative !

One other thing worth checking Carl - are you sure that (valuable) "a" has actually fallen off? I know at Eurofest Pete had some black insulation tape covering something on his numberplate for some reason, and it's possible some of it may now just be covering your a, and that's why it looks black? Difficult to tell at that angle - could you take some closer pics?

Perhaps a bit of silver paint on a piece of cardboard could mask it, until you find the aforementioned 'a' lying on your garage floor?
