Hello all,

Does anyone have an anti roll bar they want shot of? Mine appears to be slightly bent

Agreed Mike.

(Bear with me, I'll try to explain)

Off the car, and laid flat, it should contact the floor at 4 points: the two location "lugs" at the front, and at the bends where it locates in the LCA's.

On the floor, mine contacts at 3 points, and can be rocked. One side is about half an inch off the floor, thus the rocking.

Hard to explain, will post photos in the other thread this evening...!

I thought maybe... But thats a hell of a lot of force! More I suspect than my vice, weedy arms, and a scaffold pole can apply. Accurately! Thus my request for a good 2nd hand one. However, there is nothing to lose I guess. I wonder if Chris N may have one...

I will post pics tonight, but all advice, suggestions and comments appreciated.

I wouldn't scrap the anti roll bar over a half inch error, BUT, I wouldn't bend it cold either, needs heat to rectify the problem correctly. where are you?? are you near Essex?? I can sort it for you if you want.
