Don't get that one. Even Ed says so now! ;)

I think they're working on a new one. As Tony says, the Volvo one is the real deal - there are 2 types of cap for it from memory - as long as you get the right PSI you're fine.

I was just about to ask if DMCH had anything to do with it.

Where can I get a volvo one?

Did someone say Volvo coolant tank? ;)

Yes, I can highly recommend the Volvo setup, does the job as well if not better than the original and a lot more reliable. It does take a bit of setting up and jiggery pokery to get it to fit, but more on that later... Here's what you will need:

Volvo Expansion tank - Part No. 3547466. Ordered mine direct from my local Volvo dealership. Price was £24.60p at the time, this was a few years ago, so it's possibly gone up a bit since then. Still, it appears to be available and at that price, a much more affordable option!

Bottle cap - This one is the same as mine and will do the job: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RADIATOR-RAD- ... 517wt_1139

Brackets/clamp - Again, the clamp I got direct from Volvo - Part No. 840171 (still available). The bracket has been discontinued as they don't use that part on modern cars anymore. However, if you know anyone with an old Volvo (can't remember the model no.s off the top of my head) this should be fairly easy to get hold of.

Reducer hose - Which you will need to connect to the coolant pipe. This is the one I went for and closest to the size you will need. You will probably have to trim it down a little depending on the length of the coolant pipe you connect it too, it might be a tight fit but go for this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32mm-25mm-ID- ... 752wt_1037

The coolant pipe is a bit of a tricky one and I have Tony to thank for coming to my rescue with that.

Anyway, I will take a picture for you tomorrow so you can see how it is all setup and measure the dimensions of that pipe.

Hope this helps! :D
