Hi all,

So what turned out to be a service has turned into a nightmare...

00569 needs a new water pump as it's leaking from the weep hole.. Down the front of the engine.... Where on earth do we find one? ... The only place I can find is Ed or Josh of Delorean performance .... Eds price was £190 .. Is this about right?

Next up was slave cylinder... Just due to the fact it's 33 years old and the intake manifold is off ! Any ideas?

Then there's dizzy cap and rota arm... And ignition leads ...Can't find them at all

Next up was the ball joints..... The ones on the car are not bad at all ... But they are 33 years old ... So I was thinking about changing em :.. But I can't find out what they are of... But I remember hearing that there are some which fly apart ! Any ideas

I've got a new distributor cap rotor arm and cap of you need it.

Which ball joints are you talking about? If it's the front lower ones the club have had new sets made for ages!

Yes. There is talk about using a Volvo one, but it's a bit complicated: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4172 - and viewtopic.php?f=102&t=2870

Admin-bloke has already provided the link. These are the ONLY ones to get. The "dodgy" ones were the one sold by DMCH for some time, not sure if they still sell them though.

I've done the whole lot on ebay.... and ordered ball joints n dizzy cap from DCUK,..

the water pump.... looks like i'll be dealing with Ed..
