Fuel injectors

Postby RobvdVeer » Sat Sep 27, 2014 8:26 pm

Hi guys,

I'm up for 6 new fuel injectors. Ed has them on backorder, so meanwhile I'm investigating my options.. At least 3 are due for replacement so i'm taking Ed's advise to stop mucking about and replace them all at once.

So far I've only found SpecialT selling them. But basically I am completely done with getting stuff from the USA. Every time I shop there I get bombarded with import taxes and insane shipping costs to be payed on delivery, making stuff over 100% more expensive and somewhere else.

My injectors are just bad and aged because of low usage. Rust has formed and cleaning them won't help in the long run.

I'll have a go at cleaning them Rob. I've done one or two.

Your car is looking great by the way

Rob, I've had a look in my stock and I have 2 spare working tested injectors. I sent Bandit 2 to (try to) sort his over fueling out. He only needs one, so that would make 3 :)

Fully tested by me on the bosch injector tester.

Yours if you want them :D

For you Rob, if you wanted to send me your old ones I'll test / clean the lot, but if you want to try these ones of course you can. I'll need to get the 3rd injector from Bandit first (probably at euro tec October) and I'll post them to you.
