We have a betting book going on "who'll turn up on a flatbed recovery truck" competition ;)

As long as they work, that's concourse enough for me :D

It's a lottery that's for sure viewtopic.php?f=32&t=4264&p=58987&#p58987 :D

Is DC in the running for a Top Gear spot with his mate Chris Evans?

Even in the US, at DCS, there are every only about 2-3 entries in the concours group, so even there it's pretty rare. I would doubt whether you would loose points for having slightly greyer wheels at a UK (non-Eurotech) event as that's such a subtle difference that the judges wouldn't know unless he/she had another D to compare to. That is, if there is such a thing as Concours at one.

arranj wrote:Hi Gary, the club have a complete set of wheels in stock.... However I *think* they are early VIN ones (dark grey rather than silver). If that it is the case then they are no good for you unless you re-do them (concours fail), which would be sacrilege if they are mint and/or unused as I suspect they may be.
Although if that is the case then I suppose a swap around would probably be doable if someone is after a set of grey ones who has the "wrong" ones (I can think of two people - one of which is considering a wheel refurbishment....).

Otherwise the obvious options to try are maybe Chris N (unlikely), maybe Dave H (unlikely) or Ed (£1500+shipping)

Shipping on the link above that Dermot has posted would be high, as would VAT (20%) and duty (4.5%), and they are also the wrong colour too.

I/we will have more info on the condition/colour club's wheels later in the week, probably Saturday.

These wheels have been sold already, due to their condition they had to go on a particular car, a "history" thing....

Chris N has a spare set of wheels - they will need to be refurbished. You'd best be quick though lol: http://www.pjgrady.co.uk
