With the amount of flex on those arms in use, I would worry about the integrity of the welds holding up on stainless arms.

Contrary to popular belief, not everything on these cars needs to be reproduced in stainless.

Quite agreed, stainless isn't the ideal material for every application.

I've gone for Ed's beefed up OEM styles ones, they seemed to be the best price when bought with a load of other guff especially when you factor shipping form the USA and potential duty etc...

Once I get started my car will have the beefed up LCA's, new bushes across the whole front end, and ball joints, and be fitted with the outriggers too, I've also treated myself to the vented discs and calliper spacers.

As I am using the car pretty much daily, I have decided that the aging suspension and brakes could do with an update, for safety as much as anything.

I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to the project.

If they are identical then that one good one which 'Andyd' has may be useful as a pattern for my contact.

Hi James,

I think they are identical, but can't confirm.

You are welcome to one or both of mine when I get the ally ones. That probably won't be for a couple of weeks.

Cheers,

OK Andy, I may take you up on that even if it's just a to borrow them for my project.
