Good call - if you can find an exact match for the original carpet let me know - that's on my list of things to do
If you want a template - let me know and I'll pop one in the post with the location /measurements of the lock "striker"

if you are on DMCTalk there are often owners selling odd bits and pieces. I know there is a guy in florida, eagle-co94, who has some black trim pieces for sale at the moment from a car he ended up parting out.
But he may have grey too
