Manual gearbox and other manual related parts!

If you don’t already know, my auto has divorced itself from the chassis - so I thought now is a good time to finally do the body off and manual swap I’ve been talking about for ages!

So does anyone have a manual gearbox they’d be willing to sell?
Or other parts like the gear lever mechanism?
Thanks!

Did your auto need some encouragement to manage this Miles?!

So far I’ve collected these parts;
B280E even fire engine (170hp! And I have plans...)
UN1 gearbox from a Renault 25 turbo, this has shorter ratios throughout the range and a shorter final drive, so should be great for acceleration and only about 200rpm higher at 70!
NOS clutch reservoir
Manual gear selector mechanism (missing the lever)

I need to order all the service items, clutch, fork, slave, line and master but I’m not so worried about that as it’s readily available.

I will be after a flywheel though. Anyone know where I can get one of those?

Very nice Miles!

The B280E in theory should be an obvious swap - but my understanding is that the ECU-faffery required to manage the EFI is not so straightforward. Will be very interested to hear how you get on!

I’ve never been a fan of EFI, I could swap the k jet onto it, although performance would suffer. So instead, to simplify and lighten the back end, I will put a set of 3 twin choke Weber down-drafts on it, with a stainless tubular intake and stainless trumpets, along with a few other mods!

Thomas Mcelhone would be the man to speak to, his B280 is fantastic
