DeLorean.com 'First Gen' fuel sender

Postby bozzzydmc » Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:43 pm

I had this fitted to my car for 2 years ...it is the first generation of this remanufactured part .

These suffered with being slightly too long for some fuel tanks ... and in my case as my fuel tank is slightly concaved at the bottom i couldnt quite get it sealled when screwed down .

That said i know others who havent had a problem with these in their tanks and it is an as new condition, plus I will even help you fit it at EuroTec if you need a hand with it.

Offered in exchange for a pint of Arrans finest ale ;)

So if yours is furbared perhaps give this a try

Bozzy my originals been repaired so many times it's completley shagged.

I'm not oging to make Eurotec as it's my 30th Birthday and I'm away.

Can we call it say £20 and you could pop it in the post?

For what it's worth, I had one of the very first of the new type senders in #1458, and it's still going strong.
