I mean as in the backlight. Not sure if it is possible but it's almost as if you need to up the wattage. What are the dials like in the daylight?

During the daylight they're not powered (unless I turn the headlamps on of course), and they simply show as white background.

I received a support email from speedhut just now and they will ship me a new inverter (logic box to turn 12 v into a signal that lights up the EL sheet).
