#CANCELLED# - Sorting out Aaron May's Car at Eurotec 2010

After discussions the weekend with various members we will be sorting Aaron May's car out.
It will be done on the friday.

Spares we need:
dizzy i have a spare
rotor arm and cap
coil
spare injectors
spark plugs
leads i have
cpr
oxy sensor
idle motor or aux air valve
plenium chamber i have

any other suggestions apreciated TT and thanks to all who offered to help out

Tone, spare vac hoseing, as well as tools, gazebo, tarpoline just in case of adverse weather conditions. And if we are successful in getting Aarons car working he must honour this by performing 'Rock star' on the wii, including Lyrics!!

Dan has got a point, instead of repairing Aarans car we could use it as an effigy, Aaran could still do 'Rock Star' afterwards as well

I will use this post as a reminder for myself to bring:

I will bring:

Fuel pressure tester
Known working OEM CPR (Dans car)
Injector Tester (if I get to change the O rings in it)
Spare Idle ECU
Spare Ignition Amplifier (if Shane hasn't got this)
Spare Chips to repair ECU's if time permits
Various Multimeters
Wiring toolbox with loads of electrical crimp stuff...
Spare fuel hoses
Spare Relays
Spare inline fuse holders inc fuses etc....

If others could bring spare O rings for fuel distributor, spare working fuel ecu, loads of copper washers for the K-Jet that would be a start !

Bearing in mind Ed U is coming perhaps he can bring over any other bits we need such as O Rings and copper washers etc

just a thought though if aaron hasnt run the car for a couple of years will the fuel be any good or should he empty it out and refill it before he gets there in june.

Oooh ... he needs to def hand pump it all out before he tries to start it ...

Then clean out the tank and fill it with some fresh stuff

Hope he checks this thread out before he tries starting it
