There is no last day - you can turn up whenever you want, and no need to book in advance. BUT the hotel is currently full, so I can either put you on the waiting list and probably someone else will cancel (usually this happens). Or if you are fairly quick I can book you a place at the hotel next door.
Or if you leave to the last minute and there is still no room and we are desperate, then I do have a spare room for £0, but it has no bathroom - just a sink and a toilet (you can borrow Alistair's shower). That option is always there and always available, but usually there is always a better option - even if you decide to come on the day before!

One way or another you will be ok! As an "international diplomat" you will be well looked after!
