That's what I remember also, something about a business investment, but I assumed it was related to his pub.

Perhaps its free to get in, but then you have to pay to get out :D

How did they make it without anybody noticing??? or did they make it at night

They must have had excavation equipment and even lorrys to take the dirt way

Same as in Great Escape, youth, put in down their trouser legs, then went for a fag outside & kicked it around a bit!

Hi guys

I know this is all 'old news' now but I was told by a mutual friend that you were all discussing my latest venture so I thought I would drop by and say hello.

Hellloooooo!

Just to clear a few points up, I do not own this bunker, I rent it.... for a £1 a year.

I am doing it because I fell in love with the place the first time I saw it and wanted to open a museum, simple as that! Most of the equipment has come from a local aviation museum I help with and everything else has come from eBay and Army surplus shops, its all cost a fair few quid but I am doing it to give a bit of credit to the men and women who would have worked in these bunkers if there had ever been a nuclear war.

I do not make a penny from it and I never set out to do that, this is only a hobby, I have a full time job that takes up all of my other time.

The money from the sale of Pilot25 went on totally different things entirely, to be honest most of it went on furnishing a house and paying off a lot of bills.

Anyone who wants to see the bunker can do so by contacting me through the website www.nibunker.co.uk
